data. Your conversations are stored securely. You can delete your data anytime.

When you use Zikr AI, we collect the following information:
- Google Account Info: Your name, email address, and profile picture (provided by Google
when you sign in)
- Conversation Data: The questions you ask and the AI responses, to enable conversation
history
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and session tokens for security and session
management
- Usage Data: Number of conversations and messages for your profile statistics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate you securely via Google OAuth
- Save and display your conversation history
- Maintain your user profile and preferences
- Improve the Zikr AI service and user experience
- Ensure the security and integrity of the platform
- Comply with legal obligations where necessary
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement the following security measures:
- Database credentials and API keys are stored in protected configuration files, inaccessible via URL
- Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies with 30-day expiry
- All API communications use HTTPS/SSL encryption
- Database passwords are never stored in accessible locations
- We do not log the content of your AI conversations beyond what is stored for history
4. Third-Party Services
Zikr AI uses the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
- AI API: To power AI responses. Your messages are sent to our AI API for processing
- Google Fonts: For typography (Inter, Amiri fonts)
We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Conversation History
Your conversation history is stored so you can revisit past questions and answers. You have full control:
- You can delete individual conversations from the sidebar at any time
- You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us
- Deleted conversations are permanently removed from our database
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (ZIKRAI_SID) to keep you logged in. This cookie is:
- HTTP-only (not accessible to JavaScript)
- Secure (only sent over HTTPS)
- Expires after 30 days or on logout
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
7. Children's Privacy
Zikr AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete
it.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update your display name in your profile
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a readable format
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued
use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
